HH "FAST AND FURIOUS" (PG-13) Although this film doesn't take audiences anywhere they haven't been before, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are comfortable playing the odd couple one more time, with enough street-race cars and action scenes to keep fans of the franchise happy. The gorgeous Jordana Brewster is mostly around for eye candy, and Michelle Rodriguez--well, let's just say she isn't around for all the scenes. Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action, some sexual content, language and drug references. 107 min. [RF, RA, M]

HH "HANNAH MONTANA: THE MOVIE" (G) Parents and adults won't be disappointed by this charming coming-of-age tale when they take their youngsters to see it. The film takes the sweet young girl who has created "Hannah Montana" character, Miley Stewart, back home to her Tennessee country roots. Miley Cyrus does a nice job bringing that girl to life, finding herself stretched between this rock star singer and her real-life persona. Rated G. 102 min. [RF, RA, M]

[NR] "THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT" (PG-13) A family relocates for their son's health, but finds ghostly behavior happening in their new house. With Virginia Madsen, Kyle Gallner, Amanda Crew. Rated PG-13 for some intense sequences of terror and disturbing images. 92 min. [RF]

HHH "I LOVE YOU, MAN" (R) This tale of a prospective groom finding a man-pal to be his best man earns laughs with a funny script and a solid cast. Paul Rudd is good as the groom, Jason Segal is funny as the best man who causes trouble in paradise. Rated R for pervasive language, including crude and sexual references. 110 min. [RF]

HH "KNOWING" (PG-13) How many times will Hollywood--and more specifically, Nicolas Cage--play this kind of dirty trick on us? A solid beginning that mixes odd whisper people, eerie settings and odd happenings gives way to nonsense that makes it all mush. Rated PG-13 for disaster sequences, disturbing images and strong language. 115 min. [RF]
