RESIDENTS CAN SWIM FREE AGAIN

Fredericksburg residents will swim for free again this year at the Dixon Park pool. Philanthropist Doris Buffett's Sunshine Lady Foundation will again reimburse the city for the admission fees. The pool opens Saturday and will be open weekends 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekdays 3-7 p.m. until June 12. After that, it will open at 11:30 a.m. weekdays. Non-city residents pay to swim: $5 a day for ages 3-17 and 55 and up, $7 for other adults.
