"The Court-Martial of Lt. Col. Henry Clay Pate," tomorrow, 2-3:15 p.m., Graffiti House, Graffiti House, 19484 Brandy Road, Brandy Station. Civil War historian and author, Joseph McKinney, will speak. The trial in Culpeper Courthouse indirectly led to the death of one of the South's first heroes, John Pelham, at the Battle of Kelly's Ford. A tax-deductible donation of $5 is requested. Living-History Weekend, Saturday-Sunday, June 6-7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Civil War Museum at the Exchange Hotel, 400 South Main St., Gordonsville. Experience Civil War camp life and see medical and military demonstrations. Cake walk, food, crafts and entertainment by the Mosby Players and Evergreen Shade. "Civil War Sharpshooters," today, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Fort Ward Museum, 4301 West Braddock Road, Alexandria. Re-enactors representing the famed "Brady's Michigan Sharpshooters" will present a living-history program. 703/838-4848; fortward.org.

Pamplin Historical Park and The National Museum of the Civil War Soldier, 6125 Boydton Plank Road, Petersburg, will restore daily operating hours starting today. The summer hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily. 877/726-7546; pamplinpark.org.

"Manhunt: Chasing Lincoln's Killer," an exhibit devoted to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and the pursuit of his killer is open at the Newseum in Washington and continues through 2009. Details and online exhibit at newseum.org.

Richmond Civil War pass is now available for $15 to visit American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar, the Museum of the Confederacy and the Richmond National Battlefield Park Visitor Center. Tredegar .org; moc.org or nps.gov/rich.
