I am the parent of a rising fifth-grader at Margaret Brent Elementary School.
One of the most dedicated educators and administrators that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing is moving on from his position as assistant principal of Margaret Brent Elementary School.
J.R. Raybold has been appointed principal of Conway Elementary School!
As a school community, we are definitely saddened by his departure, but we knew that we could not hold on to him forever. We are very proud of his achievements.
He, along with our wonderful principal, Dottie Truslow, and our outstanding teachers and staff, have been an integral part of the school's success.
The staff and parents of Conway Elementary School have been given a gift--a gift of quality leadership, of fairness, of honesty and integrity, of approachability, of undying energy and enthusiasm, of support, and of caring: the gift of J.R. Raybold as their principal.
I hope they will embrace him into their school community. Our loss is certainly their gain.
