William T. Shamburg
Date published: 7/5/2009 William T. Shamburg William Talbot Shamburg, 74, of Stafford County, formerly of Alexandria, died Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Mary Washington Hospital. Mr. Shamburg was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagle Lodge 871. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Shamburg of Stafford; son Michael Shamburg and his wife, Ella, of Alexandria; daughter Bonnie Coleman and her husband, Robert, of Dale City; two stepchildren, Rick Williams and his wife, Tracey, and Dawn Williams; two brothers, Patrick Shamburg of Missouri and Larry Shamburg of Dale City; two sisters, Rosemary Kramer of Oakton and Alberta Shamburg of Dumfries; two grandchildren, Robert Coleman and Dawn Karem; four great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Hanna. He was preceded in death by his son, Billy Shamburg Jr. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, at Grove Baptist Church. Interment will be private.
