We loved your American fireworks!

My little sister and I are here in Spotsylvania County visiting our grandparents George and Brenda King.

They took us to the "Stars and Stripes Spectacular," and it really was spectacular and fun.

We live in England and had seen New Year's Eve and Guy Fawkes fireworks, and we thought they were good.

Our mom kept saying that the best fireworks were in the U.S., and especially those celebrating Independence Day. She was right.

We loved the fireworks in the open field with other families, and the playing of American patriotic music in the background. Thank you, W.J. Vakos and the Board of Supervisors.

Our grandma said that we should thank people who do nice things for us. We also liked the cloggers and the funnel cake.
