Paul Milde has an abundance of integrity

Recently, we have once again witnessed inappropriate behavior and questionable motives of elected officials.

It is such a blessing to have a local leader like Paul Milde, who displays integrity as he works very hard to serve the needs of Stafford County.

Mr. Milde is running for re-election this fall to represent the Aquia District on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors.

For two years, I have had the privilege of working behind the scenes with him and others on important projects for Stafford.

I am impressed with his diligence and willingness to thoroughly research challenges facing our county.

Mr. Milde works to represent his district and the needs of residents outside of his jurisdiction. I do not live in the Aquia District, but he always responds to my inquiries with kindness, concern, and intelligence.

Paul Milde is worthy of our support because he is a man of perseverance and integrity.

Recently, I read a wonderful quote about integrity from Dwight D. Eisenhower. He said: "No man can always be right. So the struggle is to do one's best, to keep the brain and conscience clear, never to be swayed by unworthy motives or inconsequential reasons, but to strive to unearth the basic factors involved, then do one's duty."

This describes Paul Milde.

This more aptly descibes Mr. Milde (posted by beingskiing , July 17, 2009 5:51 pm)

Milde, in fact, displays integrity (posted by staffordcat , July 17, 2009 10:16 am)
HPDOMI - You are right that Paul talks a lot at meetings. He is extrovert, probably talks too much. Introrverts, like George S, probably talk too little. But Milde has integrity - I would define as willingness to take a position he feels is right even if it runs against popular position. That's what I want in public official. He also has dogged diligence - he stuck to the Crow's Nest issue and made it happen by sheer will. And some of his talking reults from needed reaction to other comments.

I agree wtih the letter writer (posted by dicerotops , July 17, 2009 9:56 am)
Paul Milde makes more of an effort to talk to me than my own supervisor. He's willing to listen and help anyone in Stafford, even if they aren't in his voting precint. I would have to say that Milde is one of the best supervisors that Stafford has ever had. He cares about his community and he listens to the people who have concerns.

Are you kidding me? (posted by hpdomi , July 17, 2009 6:42 am)
Okay. Ms. Dominy, have you ever attended a BOS meeting? Integrity is NOT the word that I would use. Try buffoon, condescending or "I talk to hear myself talk."
