A youth minister at a Stafford County church was indicted yesterday on charges that she had sexual relations with a 15-year-old boy.
Jennifer Michelle Brennan, 36, of Spotsylvania was charged by a Stafford grand jury with 10 counts of taking indecent liberties with a child and 10 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to court records and sources, Brennan met the boy through her position as youth minister at Saint Matthias United Methodist Church in Stafford. The boy's mother said that among other things, Brennan counseled her son and his girlfriend against premarital sex.
An affidavit for a search warrant states that Brennan began holding and kissing the boy during counseling sessions, and the acts later escalated to sodomy and sexual intercourse.
Court records list the dates of the alleged offenses as between Jan. 24 and March 30 of this year.
The affidavit states that the acts occurred at Brennan's home in Spotsylvania and in her Toyota Sienna van at several Stafford locations.
Sources said the boy eventually told his girlfriend what was going on and the allegations eventually were presented to Stafford authorities. Detective Tom Leonard is investigating.
"She is a predator and she preyed on my son," the boy's mother said. "I just hope she didn't prey on anybody else's son."
Police recently seized a number of items from Brennan's home, including vibrating devices, compact discs, videotapes and various documents.

I feel badly for her children, the other victims of this situation. Will life ever be the same for them? It seems a real shame.

Though I am not familiar with your Church mamaz13, it once again proves my view about the general "devil made me do it" mentality of most Xtians I meet where the blame and responsibility is balmed on outside factors such as the media, porn, secularism, even the devil himself!
Doesn't matter who you are or what crime you've done you're welcome in a Church....unless of course you're a single person with no family or kids then you're viewed by the Church as "recovering" from something and shunned.
She was just doing her job.

The media puts pics of everyone and their alleged crimes all over the place, ALL the time. Murderers, bank robbers, and yep, child molesters. However, women usually get slaps on the wrist for this type of crime, thanks in part to the idiot views shared by BAYROOTARCADE. Sick and twisted. The fact that she espouses herself as a xtian just makes this Atheist LOL.
