Joseph Kozloski
Joseph Kozloski, 76, of Spotsylvania County passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at his home.
He was born in Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Mary Kozloski.
After leaving the U.S. Army, Joseph returned to WestingHouse Atomic Power Plant in West Mifflin, Pa., until December 1961. He was then employed by Atlantic Research, where he was involved in aerospace research and development, until he retired after 33 years as an engineer.
Joseph was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4522, American Legion Post 141, and The Epiphany Men's Club.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lillian Kozloski; three daughters, Lisa M. Kozloski of South Carolina, Cynthia M. Dixon and her husband, Phillip, of Pennsylvania, and Dolores A. Miller and her husband, Kenneth of Spotsylvania; two sons, Charles A. Kozloski and his wife, Julie, of Spotsylvania and Christopher J. Kozloski and his wife, Sabrina, of California; one brother, Thomas Kozloski and his wife, Leona, of Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A funeral Mass celebrating Joseph's life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at Epiphany of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church, 3410 Woodburn Road, Annandale, Va. 22003 with the Very Rev. Father John G. Basarab, pastor, officiating.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Joseph's family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of memorial donations to Epiphany Byzantine Catholic Church, 3410 Woodburn Road, Annandale, Va. 22003.
