A member of a Marine task force that returned yesterday from Iraq gets a warm welcome. The task force returned to Quantico in the wee hours after a 41/2-month deployment. Task Force East, consisting of 156 Marines, is an all-volunteer unit drawn from commands and bases throughout the Washington, D.C., region. The unit conducted security operations in Anbar Province, working with the Iraqi army and police. The Marines arrived at Barber Gymnasium at Quantico Marine Base around 2:40 a.m., where they were greeted by family and friends.
