Stafford needs Crowley on the School Board
Noreen Crowley served on Stafford's School Board from 1998-2002 during a time that challenged members' leadership and wisdom. I know; I was there.
During my 36-year career, I was familiar with a number of school boards. During Ms. Crowley's tenure, I was even more involved in school governance and funding as president of the Stafford Education Association.
Ms. Crowley was unwavering in her mission to do the right thing, no matter the political backlash. She believed that nothing less than the best was due parents, students, and employees.
She made decisions based on facts, not a personal agenda, and established a collegial relationship with employees whose professionalism she trusted.
Noreen Crowley is more than qualified. Since 2004, she has served as the assistant secretary of education for Gov. Warner, and education policy analyst for the Educational Testing Service.
Isn't this the representation Hartwood needs for its schools?

qualifications- not much at representing the district. she was a failulre at that when she was in Falmouth- before she ran against Bill Howell for delegate, and then went to work for Warner, Kaine and wants to be working for Liberal Obama- . Elected officials work for the citizens.
