VDOT warns of transportation impediments

STAFFORD COUNTY Interstate 95
Sunday-Thursday, 10 p.m.-4:30 a.m.; crews will be installing continuous traffic counters on Interstate 95 southbound just south of Exit 143 (State Route 610/Garrisonville). Two lanes will be closed in the work zone. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; motorists should be alert to crews working on the shoulder of I-95 southbound just south of Exit 143 (State Route 610/Garrisonville). Crews will be installing continuous traffic counters. No travel lanes will be closed. Monday, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; crews will be inspecting the State Route 753 (Enon Road) bridge over I-95. One lane will be closed on both northbound and southbound I-95 at Exit 136 (Centreport Parkway). Wednesday, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; crews will be inspecting the State Route 628 (Ramoth Church Road) bridge over I-95. One lane will be closed on both northbound and southbound I-95 between Exit 136 (Centreport Parkway) and Exit 140 (State Route 630/Stafford). Wednesday-Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; crews will be inspecting the State Route 637 (Telegraph Road) bridge over I-95. One lane will be closed on both northbound and southbound I-95 between Exit 136 (Centreport Parkway) and Exit 143 (State Route 610/Garrisonville Road). Friday, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; crews will be inspecting the State Route 652 (Truslow Road) bridge over I-95. One lane will be closed on both northbound and southbound I-95 between Exit 133 (U.S. 17/Falmouth) and Exit 136 Centreport Parkway). U.S. 17 Tuesday, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; crews will be inspecting the U.S. 17 bridge at the I-95 interchange. One lane will be closed on both north and southbound I-95 at Exit 133 (Falmouth/Warrenton). SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY Interstate 95 Monday-Thursday, 7:30 p.m.-4:30 a.m.; crews will be installing raised pavement markers on I-95 southbound between Exit 130 (State Route 3/Fredericksburg) and Exit 118 (State Route 606/Thornburg). This will be a mobile operation. One lane will be closed in the work zone and there will be brief ramp closures at the interchanges in the work zone. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; crews will be milling and paving the shoulder lane in I-95 north between Exit 118 (State Route 606/Thornburg) and Exit 126 (U.S. 1/Spotsylvania). Motorists will be restricted to one lane.
