Date published: 11/9/2009 Barbara S. Edenton Barbara S. Edenton, 71, of Keswick died Sunday, Nov. 8, 2009, at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. Survivors include her husband, Carroll V. Edenton; her daughters, Catherine Jones and her husband, Bob, of Spotsylvania County, Donna Shepherd and her husband, Bill, of Partlow and Teresa Hagy and her husband, Arthur, of Palmyra; three sisters, Virgie Knight of Spotsylvania, Virginia Limerick of Caroline County and Lucille Gatewood of Spotsylvania; three brothers, Louis Seay of Spotsylvania, William Seay of Texas and Thomas Seay of Staunton; five grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Carroll Vernon Edenton Jr.; a brother, Johnny Seay; and a sister, Mildred Alsop. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Wallers Baptist Church with the Rev. James Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Wallers Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Da Vita Dialysis Center, 1800 Timberwood Blvd., Suite C, Charlottesville, Va. 22911.
