Kloke Group of Fredericksburg and Joe Moholland Moving of Woodbridge recently received Mayflower Transit's Million Dollar Club Award for their achievements during the 2008 calendar year. Kloke Group was recognized among the top Mayflower revenue producers for the $1 million level, while Joe Moholland Moving reached the $5 million level. The latter also received the Fleet Safety Award and the Performance Excellence Award.
Local businesswoman Linda Worrell recently received the Patricia Lacey Metzger Distinguished Achievement Award at the 16th annual Leadership for Professional Women conference at the University of Mary Washington. The award was in recognition of her career achievements, which included nearly six years at the helm of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce as well as involvement in numerous community and business organizations.
Hilldrup Moving and Storage, Stafford, an agent of United Van Lines, was recently honored by the worldwide household goods transportation company with the following annual awards: President's Club Award--$36 million level; Fleet Safety Award; Hauling Achievement Award; Sales Achievement Award; Customer Choice Award; and Performance Excellence Award. Two of its individual operators, Paul Todd and Rusty Adams, won operator of the month for September in the Continental Fleet, North East Region, and Household Goods Regional Fleet (more than 50,000 miles), respectively.
