The 'good guys' will make reform possible
When my husband and I started purchasing our own health insurance, we didn't realize the tough lessons we would be learning about managing our own care and its cost.
Among the lessons: the importance of knowing how much medicines and medical care really cost; how difficult it is to determine those costs until they have already been incurred; how lack of understanding how our current system works contributes to its ever-growing cost.
I believe there is no one "bad guy" in this dilemma, but instead enough greedy bad guys and enough uninformed good guys to make this an almost impossible situation to resolve.
Our congratulations and admiration to the good guys (both men and women in our House of Representatives) for doing what they could by passing H.R. 3962.

Trial of 9/11 planner: Prosecutor says, You planned the 9/11 attack, you caused the deaths of 3000 Americans, you are a murderer.
Defense atty: Oh, those are the same old talking points, they are old, old stuff. What's your new idea?
Prosecutor: The prosecution has no answer to this. We have no new response because we can't add to murder, terror, lies. So I guess we give up. Let the defendant go free. You win, RonC.
Defendant leaves the courtroom laughing and picking lice from his chest hair, thanking Ro

this simple statement: The same, the very same people who are the anti-healthcare reformists are the ones who gave us all the lies about WMDs, Sadaam being so, so dangerous to us, yellowcake, nucular programs, the dangers of gays down the block marrying and thereby destroying not only our marriages but the Bible as well, etc. If these people were SO wrong on everything, how come they are now the abitraitors of decency and morality, which is getting care to the most needy (says Jesus).

He merely asked tpifos, where was he when the atrocities that Bush and company provoked happened? Fair question. Since the Bush government failed big time and got booted out handily by the American public, where were all of you "government is bad" guys when our country was about to tank?
You republican whiners are amazing. If you really

gave a rats arse about anyone but yourselves you'd quit displaying your ignorance on some "accomplish nothing" bulletin board and write to your representatives. Tell them to get off their useless rear ends and work with the Democrats. All this "Party of NO" stuff is imbecilic. It helps no one. Instead of supporting a party seldom if ever helps the average citizen try demanding they get on board and get a workable plan. They had control from 01-04 and did NOTHING and they're still doing NO
So what is our

alternative, folks? The Republican plan? LOLz. That plan won't cover any more people than currently, barely keeping pace with population growth. And it does much less to reduce our deficit than the heinous bill out of the House - the one that's already been politically vetted. Useful suggestions? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
