A pizza delivery driver was robbed early Saturday while making a delivery to a Stafford County home that turned out to be unoccupied, police said.
Sheriff's spokesman Bill Kennedy said the incident took place on Foggy Field Lane in England Run North.
The victim, who works for Domino's Pizza, told Deputy Rebecca Hallam that he delivered an order at 12:10 a.m. When he arrived, he saw a male and a female sitting on the porch.
As the driver got out of his vehicle, the female asked him about the quality of the food while the male pretended to be looking for money in his wallet, Kennedy said.
A second male then surprised the driver by placing a knife on the left side of his throat and saying, "don't try anything. Just give them the money."
All three suspects then left the area with two large pizzas, an order of cheesy bread, a lava cake and an undisclosed amount of money.
They were last seen on Rushing Creek Road heading toward Lyons Road.
Kennedy said police later learned that the home is for sale and that no one currently lives there.
Both suspects on the porch were described as black in their late teens or early 20s and wearing black clothing.
The female was light-skinned, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 120 pounds. She was wearing a black "puffer" jacket.
The male had on a dark jacket and a dark beanie. The male with the knife was described only as black.

Ghetto thugs

I wonder if these ghetto thugs live in the apartment complexes near England Run, perhaps the income restricted ones? I would be surprised if any of them actually lived in the subdivision. I hope they are caught.
