Hospice workers aided our family in sad time
Hospice workers aided our family in sad time

Our mother was diagnosed with pancreatic and lung cancer on Aug. 5 and passed away on Nov. 5.
We were extremely fortunate that we were able to keep Mom at our home instead of in the hospital. Family members kept vigil around the clock to be with her.
We would like to thank Hospice of Fredericksburg for the unyielding service they provided to her and the outstanding guidance they provided to our family.
It takes a very special person to care for and work with terminally ill patients. We particularly want to commend Kathleen Dennis and Debra Hall for their dedication, devotion, and commitment to keep Mom comfortable at all times. They are an asset to hospice and the community.
Kathleen and Debra treated Mom with the utmost dignity and respect. Mom looked forward to their visits. Kathleen and Debra became a special part of our family, and we will miss their visits to our home.
We would also like to thank Stefanie Larsen, who was also there to nurture us during this difficult time, providing care for our emotional needs.

I feel the pain for your loss and also thankful for the care provided by Hospice. While my loss was over 15 years ago and the care provided was in the Hospice facility in Northern Virginia, too am eternally greatful to the primarily volunteer staff who were always considerate and empathic to our needs.
