STAFFORD COUNTY Interstate 95 Sunday-Tuesday, 10 p.m.-4:30 a.m.; crews will be installing continuous traffic counters on I-95 southbound just south of Exit 143 (Route 610/Garrisonville). Two lanes will be closed in the work zone. Monday-Tuesday, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; motorists should be alert to crews working on the shoulder of I-95 southbound just south of Exit 143 (Route 610/Garrisonville). Crews will be installing continuous traffic counters. No travel lanes will be closed. SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY Interstate 95 Sunday-Tuesday, 7:30 p.m-4 a.m.; crews will be installing raised pavement markers on I-95 southbound between Exit 130 (Route 3/Fredericksburg) and Exit 118 (Route 606/Thornburg). This will be a mobile operation. One lane will be closed in the work zone. Monday-Tuesday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.; one lane will be closed to traffic on I-95 southbound just south of Exit 126 (U.S. 1/ Spotsylvania) for construction of the new Spotsylvania Parkway bridge over I-95. Routes 2 and 17 Monday-Wednesday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; motorists should expect delays on Routes 2 and 17 at the rail crossing near the Bowman Center. Spotsylvania County crews will be repairing the crossing. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone.
State Route 639 (Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue) Ongoing construction. Motorists are reminded that all traffic has been shifted to new lanes on Bragg Road between Route 3 and the Central Park entrance. The Bragg Road entrance to Giant remains open only to right turns in and out. This is an active work zone and motorists should be alert to crews and equipment in this area. FREDERICKSBURG State Route 3 (William Street) Motorists are reminded that one lane on Route 3 eastbound is closed to traffic at the U.S. 1 bridge over Route 3. This is in connection with the U.S. 1/Route 3 bridge renovation project. U.S. 1 bridge over State Route 3 (William Street) Motorists are reminded that one lane on both northbound and southbound U.S. 1 at the bridge over Route 3 is closed to traffic for bridge rehabilitation. The speed limit in the work zone is 25 mph. Mary Ball Street Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-5 p.m.; Mary Ball Street will be closed to through traffic for the Kenmore Avenue sewer-line replacement project.
