Spotsylvania Crime Solvers is seeking information on the following crimes:

Deputies responded to the 6000 block of Harrison Road on Nov. 15 at 9:30 p.m. for a robbery. The victims had just arrived home when two masked men carrying a knife came up to them and placed their hands over the victims' mouths. The men demanded the victims hand over items, but when one victim screamed, both suspects took off running. Several items dropped by the suspects were located on Dogwood Avenue. The suspects were described as white men wearing masks, gloves and camouflage clothing. 09-162025

Overnight on Nov. 11, George's Pizza, in the 5000 block of Plank Road, was burglarized. The front glass door was broken and cash was stolen. 09-160251

Overnight on Nov. 11, Design Line Hair Studio, in the 6000 block of Jefferson Davis Highway, was burglarized. The front glass door was broken and cash stolen. 09-160249

During the night of Nov. 16, approximately $4,000 worth of stereo equipment was stolen from the front yard of a residence in the 4000 block of Courthouse Road. A witness observed three males on the property, who fled in a tan, older-model pickup truck. 09-162518

Overnight on Nov. 17, an unlocked vehicle in the Meadowview subdivision was broken into and a Dell laptop stolen. 09-163261

The Sheriff's Office took at least seven reports of license plates being stolen from vehicles in the Kingswood and Beauclaire Plantation subdivisions overnight on Nov. 14. Deputies recovered 18 vehicle plates in the road near Kingwood in the morning of Nov. 16. 09-161781, 09-161789, 09-161818, 09-161505, 09-161835, 09-161946, 09-161872

During the night of Nov. 15, suspects trespassed on the property of the Chancellor Christian Center on Brock Road and pried open the door to a shed on the property. 09-162129

WANTED

Jeffrey Hudson McElwain, on a capias for failure to appear on fel-ony shoplifting and a charge of misdemeanor profane language. He is described as a white man, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 225 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes. His last known location was in Spotsylvania.
