ROYDELL WILLIAMS WIDE RECEIVER (6-0, 180)

Williams quietly positioned himself during minicamps and OTAs as the second-string "X" receiver behind Joey Galloway. He hasn't played in an NFL game since 2007, but you can't tell from how he's playing. He got behind the defense yesterday for deep touchdown from QB Rex Grossman. The four preseason games are huge for him.

DEVIN THOMAS WIDE RECEIVER (6-2, 218)

Thomas didn't get much separation on several roures yesterday. It appears to be a trend at this point, and it doesn't seem to matter if he's going against CB DeAngelo Hall or CB Ramzee Robinson. It's why he's listed as the third-string "X" receiver. Thomas likely will make the team, but his special-teams contributions will be a big reason for that.
