Literature with naughty words? A Catch-22

I recently read about a Ruth Allen in Bedford County who is attempting to have a book banned from her son's middle school for the foul language it contains.

I believe this is a good step forward. I believe we should celebrate this woman for shielding our beloved, innocent youth from the terrors of naughty-people words.

I, too, have been affected by such words. I remember reading "Catch-22" in high school, and after every curse I read, the back of my digestive system exploded as if it were a ketchup packet being trampled upon.

That was a tough read. I don't think I had ever heard or seen a curse word up to that point in my life, thanks to women like Ruth Allen.

Unfortunately, some delusional teacher mistakenly encouraged me to pick up a book with curse words and therefore one lacking in literary and moral merit.

We should eliminate such teachers, along with the books they suggest, from our school system.
