STAFFORD COUNTY

Interstate 95

(Update) Tuesday-Thursday, 10 p.m.-5 a.m.; motorists should expect periodic lane closures and delays on I-95 northbound between Exit 140 (State Route 630/Stafford) and Exit 143 (State Route 610/Garrisonville). Crews will be milling and paving in this area. All lanes will be open to traffic in time for the morning rush hour.

Brooke Road

(Update) Wednesday, 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m.; Brooke Road will be closed to traffic near Eskimo Hill Road while crews replace a drainage pipe. Motorists are encouraged to use the most convenient alternate route. Commuters who use the VRE Commuter Lot on Brooke Road can use Potomac Run Road to reach Deacon Road or White Oak Road during the daytime closure.

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

Smith Station Road and Piedmont Drive

(New) Work is under way at the intersection of Smith Station Road and Piedmont Drive. The Spotsylvania County roadway improvement project includes widening the road and the installation of a new traffic signal. Motorists in the vicinity of this work zone should follow the designated detour signs.

Cosner Drive

(New) Tuesday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.; motorists should be alert to crews repairing the pavement at various locations on Cosner Drive. Expect brief delays.

CAROLINE COUNTY

Interstate 95

(Update) Tuesday, noon to 10 p.m. and Wednesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; crews will be paving on I-95 northbound between the Caroline/Hanover county line and Exit 110 (State Route 639/Ladysmith). The left lane and shoulder will be closed to traffic.

(Update) Wednesday-Thursday, 8 p.m.-8 a.m.; crews will be milling on I-95 southbound between Exit 118 (State Route 606/Thornburg) and Exit 110 (State Route 639/Ladysmith). Motorists should expect delays in the work zone.
