Carol Gripshover Schooley, 67, of Warsaw passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Henrico Doctors' Hospital.

Carol is survived by daughter Rebecca Martinez and her husband, Hector, of Warsaw; two sisters, Sister Joan Gripshover of Kentucky and Mary Hannick of King George County ; three brothers, Ronald Gripshover of King George, Carl J. Gripshover of Lexington, Ky., and Al Gripshover Jr. of Alexandria, Ky.; two grandchildren, Bella Ruth Martinez and Joanna Linda Martinez; and a stepgrandson, Aksel Martinez.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley L. Schooley; daughter Ruth Ann Gripshover; and brother Jim Gripshover.

Carol's family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 22, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George, with a rosary prayer vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, King George.

Interment will be private at a later date.
