A Westmoreland County man is facing several drug and weapons charges after a search warrant was executed at his house Tuesday night.
About 9:30 p.m., the Tri-County Drug Task Force went to a home in the 2800 block of Three Way Road in Oldhams, said Westmoreland Sheriff C.O. Balderson.
Deputies seized an undisclosed amount of cash, narcotics, prescription drugs, drug paraphernalia, four assault rifles, two handguns and a shotgun, he said.
Balderson said one of the assault rifles had been reported stolen from Northumberland County.
After the search, Judson "Buckshot" Campbell, 56, was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, three counts of possession of prescription medication without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a stolen firearm and seven counts of possession of a firearm while in the possession of drugs with the intent to distribute.
Campbell was being held without bond at the Northern Neck Regional Jail.
More charges are pending, Balderson said.
The Tri-County Drug Task Force is composed of deputies from Caroline, King George and Westmoreland counties, and officers from the Virginia State Police and the Naval Criminal Investigative Services. A state police dog also participated in the investigation, Balderson said.
