Clinton W. Sullivan, 96, of Fredericksburg died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at his home.

Mr. Sullivan was a native of Stafford County and a graduate of Falmouth High School. He was the bookkeeper at Freeman Beverage Co. in Fredericksburg and the co-owner of Service Distributing in Newington.

Mr. Sullivan was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Estelle Shelton Sullivan

Survivors include his son, Stuart Sullivan, and his wife, Joyie, of Fredericksburg; four grandchildren, Stuart Sullivan Jr. and his wife, Cathy, of Fredericksburg, Tracy Russillo and her husband, Dave, of Mechanicsville, Kimberly Brockwell and her husband, David, of Fredericksburg and Angela Witt and her husband, Stephen, of Mechanicsville; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and nieces Sandy Shelton of Richmond, Sharon Trussell of Woodbridge and Beverly Gouldman of Spotsylvania County.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 23, at Oak Hill Cemetery.
