Legion post to host job fair for vets

A job fair for veterans and their spouses will be held July 30 at the American Legion Post 290 in Fredericksburg.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the legion are hosting the Hiring Our Heroes session, which will include more than 40 employers, organizers say.

Interested employers and job seekers can register for free at hoh.greatjob.net. Walk-ins are allowed with a military ID card. The post is located at 1204 American Legion Road, Fredericksburg.

Over the past year, during more than 200 Hiring Our Heroes sessions, more than 10,000 service members and spouses have found employment.
