A Culpeper County man is charged in the armed robbery of a CVS pharmacy in Prince William County.

According to Jonathan Perok of the Prince William County Police Department, officers were called at 3:16 p.m. Aug. 1 to the CVS on McGraws Corner Drive in Gainesville. Employees reported that an unknown man approached the pharmacy counter, said he had a weapon and demanded several medications.

The man then fled with the medicine in a vehicle. No one was hurt, Perok said.

A search using a police dog and helicopter was unsuccessful. But on Aug. 4, Perok said, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for David Winfield Eisenmann, 22, of Dutch Hollow Road in Rixeyville. He was arrested without incident the next day at the home of a relative in Rappahannock County, Perok said.

Eisenmann is charged with one count of armed robbery. He is being held at the Rappahannock County Jail without bond awaiting transport back to Prince William County.

Perok also said charges are pending against a 17-year-0ld suspected of being the driver of the getaway vehicle.
