Richard "Lee" Perry, 75, of Mechanicsville, formerly of Fredericksburg and Ruther Glen, went to meet Jesus on Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Memorial Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Perry was born Sept. 2, 1936, to the late Herman and Mildred Perry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, April Perry.

Survivors include a daughter, Toni Hicks; six grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Perry and his wife, Nina, and Thomas Perry and his wife, Nancy; and two sisters, Patricia Webb and her husband, Charlie, and Mildred Mastin and her husband, Gerald.

At his request, he was cremated, and a private service will be held at a later date.
