SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY
Interstate 95
(Update) Tuesday, 10 p.m.-4:30 a.m.; crews will continue paving on I-95 southbound at the Rappahannock River bridge, located just south of Exit 133 (U.S. 17/Falmouth) between mile markers 130 and 132. Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone. Expect delays.
KING GEORGE COUNTY
State Route 218
(Updated) Tuesday, noon-5 p.m. and Wednesday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; crews will continue milling, paving and replacing guardrail on State Route 218 between State Route 694 and State Route 609. Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.
CAROLINE COUNTY
Interstate 95
(Update) Crews continue paving and line-striping on I-95 southbound between mile marker 108.1, located just south of Exit 110 (State Route 639/Ladysmith) and mile marker 103.7, located just south of Exit 104 (State Route 207/Carmel Church). Expect lane closures and delays on the following days through Thursday night:
Tuesday, noon-5 a.m.; one lane closed (day and night work)
Wednesday, 10 a.m.-5 a.m., one lane closed until 10 p.m.; two lanes closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
(Update) Tuesday, noon-7 p.m. and Wednesday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. crews continue work to replace guardrail at various locations on I-95 southbound between Exit 110 (State Route 639/Ladysmith) and Exit 118 (State Route 606/Thornburg) in Spotsylvania County. The right lane and shoulder will be closed in the work zone.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION
STAFFORD COUNTY
State Route 610 at Aquia Creek
(Update) The work on this bridge rehabilitation project is complete. The bridge is located just west of Joshua Road. All travel lanes are open to traffic and the temporary traffic signal has been removed.
SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY
State Route 208 (Spotsylvania County Bypass Project Phase II)
Be alert to the new traffic pattern on State Route 208 between Robert E. Lee Drive and Post Oak Road. Construction continues on the final segment of the Spotsylvania Courthouse Bypass from Post Oak Road to just east of the Ta River near Lake Anna. Estimated completion date is February 2013.
