Domino's employee robbed of deposit bag.
Money bag stolen from pizza manager
A Domino's Pizza employee carrying a deposit bag was robbed early Saturday morning, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office.
The night manager told police he was carrying the deposit bag to his vehicle in the parking lot at 6734 Jefferson Davis Highway at about 12:15 a.m. when he heard a yell from behind him and then was tackled, Capt. Mike Harvey said.
The assailant then punched the man in the ribs and made off with the deposit bag, which contained an undisclosed amount of cash and checks.
The assailant is described as a male who was wearing a black track suit, black mask and black gloves, Harvey said.
