Robert Earl McLeod Jr., 51, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, at his home.
Robert is survived by his wife of 16 years, Joanne; son Robert E. McLeod III and his wife, Meschelle Hopkins, of Ladysmith; three stepsons, John Blue and his wife, Amanda, of Manassas, Yancy Blue and his wife, Christina, of Culpeper and Hadley Blue and his wife, Sandra, of Florida; stepdaughter Joni Blue and her fiance, David Verhagen, of Manassas; sister Donna M. Sitzler and her husband, Samuel, of Norfolk; four aunts, Ellen Anderson, Barbara McLeod, Louise Heavey and Rosetta Page; two uncles, James and Charles McLeod; nine grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Hyshee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Julia McLeod, and a stepson, Kevin Lee Blue.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, in the McLeod family cemetery, 4025 Lewistown Road, Bumpass.
In lieu of flowers, Robert's family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Joanne McLeod, 8006 Flippo Drive, Fredericksburg, Va. 22408.
