Barbara L. McGinn, 87, of King George County passed away Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Heritage Hall Nursing Home.
Barbara was born in Limerick, Maine. She was a former secretary of the Bridgewater Republican Town Committee.
She is survived by two sons, Michael E. McGinn of King George and Richard G. McGinn of Sagamore Beach, Mass; a sister, Irene Farwell of Mashpee, Mass; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Richard Henry McGinn.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George. Burial will be private and held at a later date in Bourne, Mass.
