George Santayana aptly puts it, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
Her article reinforces the warning issued by Pope Benedict XVI, head of the Roman Catholic Church, to his fellow Catholics, but applicable to all people of faith, to become aware of the dangers to our religious freedom taking place in America today that can affect our way of life for decades to come.
With his administration overreaching in its quest for power, President Obama evidently does not possess even basic knowledge of natural law and inalienable rights since he can take such actions against our liberties.
Although most Americans will be voting Nov. 6 for the party they believe has the better chance to bring us back to prosperity, they should be as much concerned with this loss of freedom being imposed upon us.
Of great concern, also, is President Obama's admission that other actions must wait for his re-election.
Casting a ballot is such a simple action, yet it can elect representatives who will govern in a just and moral manner, bringing honor and glory to God, and, eventually, freedom and justice to each and every American.
