Fredericksburg gets grant from EPA
Fredericksburg has received a $400,000 grant to identify "brown field" sites.
The grant, from the Environmental Protection Agency, will help the city identify and assess land with the potential for redevelopment that may have pollution issues.
ONE Environmental Group LLC in Richmond was selected for the project.
The grant does not include funding for the actual cleanup of the sites.
