Each individual is responsible for his or her actions, regardless of age. When a child errs, the reason why his or her actions were incorrect should be explained. Age-appropriate actions to atone for the error should be offered to the child.

Why would a parent accept improper action or attitude from their child? How does that choice aid in developing their child into an adult who will be accepted and will thrive in society?
