Lucille Helen Cubbage, 77, of Fredericksburg died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital.

She was a member of Hillcrest United Methodist Church in Fredericksburg and a member of United Methodist Church Women. She had worked for G and H.

Survivors include her sister, Annie Mae Cross; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Annie Hoffaman; her husband, Giles Cubbage; and her companion, Walter Y. Meadows.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, South Atlantic Division Inc., 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Va. 23060-9904.
