Roy G. Smith Jr., 54, of Woodford died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at his home.
He was a dedicated truck driver for 24 years and retired as a heavy equipment operator at Fort A.P. Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Myrtle Smith; and his sister, Patsy Shimchick.
Survivors include his daughters, Erica Oliver, Jennifer Johnson and Danielle Burruss; three sisters, Carol Brooks, Susan Lockwood and Robbin Taylor; three grandchildren, Alyssa and Drew Burke and Ryleigh Oliver; and his fiancee, Penny Crabtree.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.
