Martin Oliver "Marty" Kronander Jr., 52, of Louisa County died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, in Louisa.

Born Oct. 1, 1959, in Charleroi, Pa., he was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and was employed by Mike's Glass & Mirror in Orange County. Marty and his brother, David, owned and operated Kronander Construction Co. for 15 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf, and was a member of the Rappahannock Valley Football Association for 34 years.

Marty is survived by his parents, Martin Oliver Sr. and Betty Mae Mustbrook Kronander of Louisa; his wife, Constance Lynn Kronander of Louisa; two sons, Taylor Connor Kronander and Martin Kyle Kronander, both of Louisa; three brothers, Kevin Knute Kronander of Louisa, Michael Albert Kronander of Richmond and David Eugene Kronander and wife Tammy of Louisa; and seven nephews and a niece.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at Preddy Funeral Home in Orange.

A service will be held at11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at the funeral home, with interment to follow in Graham Cemetery. Pastor James Kniseley will officiate.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the R.V.F.O.A. Scholarship Fund, Box 193, Fredericksburg, Va. 22401.
