Clarence Eldridge Houchens, 55, entered into eternal rest at his home in Woodford on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012.

He was born Nov. 28, 1956, to Warren Houchens and Rosa Smith.

Clarence leaves to cherish his memory his parents; his wife, Odellsie A. Smith; two children, Latonya and Courtney; six brothers; three sisters; three stepchildren; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; five grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home and one hour before the service on Thursday.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
