SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY

RCCG Hosanna Chapel, 4410A Lafayette Blvd., will hold third-year anniversary celebrations Sept. 28-30, with Divine Encounter Night on Sept. 28 at 10:30 p.m.; Hosanna Night on Sept. 29 at 7 p.m. and a celebration and thanksgiving service on Sept. 30 at 10:30 a.m. There will be guest ministers and musicians. 540/322-9551 or 540/898-0621.

Eastland United Methodist Church, 10718 Courthouse Road in Spotsylvania, will hold a yard and bake sale Sept. 29, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Spaces are $15. 540/898-0735.

Good Hope Baptist Church, 5601 Courthouse Road, near Lake Anna, will celebrate Homecoming on Sept. 23 at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Brian Autry, executive director for Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia as guest pastor. Lunch will follow the worship service in the fellowship hall. Revival will be held Sept. 24-26 at 7 p.m. with the following guest speakers and choirs: Sept. 24, the Rev. Gabe Turner, pastor of The Point Church of Charlottesville and Hebron Baptist Church Choir; Sept. 25, the Rev. Keith Robinson, pastor of Mountain View Baptist Church of King George and Travelers Rest Baptist Church Choir; and Sept. 26, Darrell Webb, church missionary for Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia and Mine Road Baptist Church Choir. 540/538-8900.

FREDERICKSBURG

First Christian Church, 1501 Washington Ave., will hold 9 a.m. traditional and 11 a.m. contemporary worship services in addition to the 10 a.m. all-ages Sunday school on Sept. 23. A new book club series for couples, W.F. Mount Zion Baptist Church, 309 Wolfe St., will celebrate the 108th Church Anniversary and Homecoming on Sept. 23. Overseer Michael McGee, pastor of Bethel Full Life Center in Muskegon, Mich., will preach at the 11 a.m. service, followed by dinner, and the Rev. Kevin Poole of Church Restoration Ministries in Fredericksburg will preach at the 3 p.m. service.
