Donnie Johnston's tale about Freddie the Free Range Rooster ["Freddie ruffled, but still cocky," Sept. 6] makes me wonder if Donnie is special. He sees things differently.
Having said that, I must admit that my grandson is much like Donnie. He wrote
Maybe when Donnie retires, my grandson can take his place, and readers could continue to enjoy fowl tales.
