Interstate 95
(New) Sunday-Friday, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; crews will be repairing and/or replacing guardrail at various locations on northbound and southbound I-95 between the Hanover/Caroline County line and I-395. This is a mobile operation and one lane will be closed in the work zone.
STAFFORD COUNTY
Interstate 95
(New) Sunday-Thursday, 10 p.m.-4:30 a.m.; crews will continue milling and paving on I-95 northbound from just north of Exit 130 (State Route 3/Fredericksburg) to Exit 133 (U.S. 17/Falmouth). One lane will be closed in the work zone. Expect delays.
SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY
Interstate 95
Sunday-Wednesday, 10 p.m.-5 a.m.; crews continue the milling and paving operation on I-95 southbound at the Rappahannock River bridge, located just south of Exit 133 (U.S. 17/Falmouth) between mile markers 130 and 132. Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone. Expect delays.
U.S. 1
(Update) Wednesday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m.; crews will be milling and paving on U.S. 1 from State Route 607 to just north of State Route 608. Northbound and southbound motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.
State Route 1234 (Falcon Drive)
(Update) Monday-Tuesday, 6 a.m.-6 p.m.; motorists should expect delays on Falcon Drive between Mine Road and Lafayette Boulevard. Crews will be line painting on Falcon Drive. This is a mobile operation and motorists should avoid passing slow-moving trucks and crossing over wet paint.
State Route 622 bridge over I-95
(New) Monday, 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; crews will be inspecting the State Route 622 (Fairview Road) bridge over I-95 in Spotsylvania County. Motorists will be restricted to one lane on Fairview Road.
KING GEORGE COUNTY
State Route 218
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; crews will continue milling, paving and replacing guardrail on State Route 218 between State Route 694 and State Route 609. Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.
Harry Nice Bridge
Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; motorists will be restricted to one lane on the Harry Nice Bridge. the Maryland Transportation Authority will be conducting routine bridge inspections. CAROLINE COUNTY
Interstate 95
(Update) Sunday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-5 a.m.; crews will be paving on I-95 northbound between mile marker 102.9 located just north of the Hanover County line and mile marker 106.9, located just north of Exit 104 (State Route 207/Carmel Church). This is a day and nighttime operation. One lane will be closed in the work zone between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Two lanes will be closed beginning at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. each day. Expect delays.
Interstate 95
(New) Sunday, 10 p.m.-5 a.m.; crews will be milling and paving on the northbound and southbound side of I-95 at Exit 104 (State Route 207/Carmel Church). One lane will be closed in the work zone. The ramps to State Route 207 located at Exit 104 will be closed periodically during the overnight hours. Electronic message boards will alert motorists of the closure.

SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY
State Route 208 (Spotsylvania County Bypass Project Phase II)
Be alert to the new traffic pattern on State Route 208 between Robert E. Lee Drive and Post Oak Road. Construction continues on the final segment of the Spotsylvania Courthouse Bypass from Post Oak Road to just east of the Ta River near Lake Anna. Estimated completion date is February 2013.
State Route 208 bridge over Lake Anna
Construction continues in the eastbound lane on the State Route 208 bridge over Lake Anna. A temporary signal maintains one-lane traffic on the structure. Estimated completion is December.
State Route 738 (Partlow Road) at Ta River
A bridge deck rehabilitation project is under way. A temporary traffic signal maintains one lane of traffic across the structure. The project is expected to be completed in October.
Mine Road/Lansdowne Road (Spotsylvania County Project)
Construction continues in the vicinity of the Mine Road/Lansdowne Road intersection. Expect delays and traffic-pattern changes during daylight hours.
State Route 3 widening project (Spotsylvania County Project)
This widening project of State Route 3 is located between Chewning Lane and Gordon Road.
Smith Station Road and Piedmont Drive (Spotsylvania County Project)
Work is under way at the intersection of Smith Station Road and Piedmont Drive. The Spotsylvania County roadway improvement project includes widening the road and the installation of a new traffic signal. Motorists in the vicinity of this work zone should follow the designated detour signs.
CAROLINE COUNTY
State Route 207 bridge replacement project
Work is under way to replace the westbound Route 207 bridge over the CSX railroad tracks. Eastbound and westbound traffic have been shifted to the eastbound State Route 207 bridge. Motorists should be alert to this new traffic pattern. The speed limit has been reduced to 45 mph in the work zone. Estimated completion date for the project is May 2013.
KING GEORGE COUNTY
U.S. 301 bridge over the Rappahannock River
Work is under way on the U.S. 301 bridge over the Rappahannock River. The bridge connects King George County and Caroline County at Port Royal. All traffic has been shifted to the southbound lanes on the bridge, with one lane open to traffic in each direction. Motorists should be alert to construction and changes in traffic patterns. The project is expected to be completed in July 2013.
