Between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 12, someone entered a residence in the 9600 block of Becker Court in Lee's Hill-Dominion Forest through a basement window and took a black Asus laptop valued at $732.20, and a LG cell phone valued at $50. There was no estimate on the broken window. CFS 12-107042
Between 5:30-5:35 p.m. on Sept. 14, a man was sitting in a garage in the 6900 block of Yeoman Court in Salem Fields-The Glen and saw a man inside the garage. That man became startled and asked if the resident lived there and if anyone else was in the residence. He then ran away into the nearby wooded area. He is described as a black male, 18 to 24 years old, 6 feet, 160 to 165 pounds, brown eyes, Afro hair, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and a hair pick. Missing from the garage is a 3-foot tall hookah, made of pink and white striped glass valued at $100. CFS 12-107884
Between 12:01-5:30 a.m. on Sept. 13, someone broke into a garage in the 5400 block of Hams Ford Road and stole a black 2000 Dodge Dakota Sport displaying Virginia plates, UW7373, valued at $8,000, and two garage door openers valued at $25 each. Taken from an unlocked shed were seven Dewalt rechargeable batteries valued at $100 each, one Dewalt double battery charger valued at $100, one gray Craftsman grinder valued at $200, one Husqvarna leaf blower valued at $300, one John Deere lawn mower valued at $350, a Gander Mountain fishing bag valued at $25, a Dewalt circular saw valued at $200, one boom box valued at $60, and one Stanley automobile battery charger valued at $75. Between 5:30-9:15 a.m. on Sept. 18, someone stole a white 2001 Ford F550XL utility truck with a yellow rear bumper, displaying Virginia plates, TX139892, while it was parked in the parking lot of the Comfort Inn Southpoint, 5422 Jefferson Davis Highway. It is valued at $23,000. CFS 12-109209
Between 12:01-7:30 a.m. on Sept. 16, someone stole a white 2001 Ford F-350 pickup truck displaying Texas plates, ABW98896, valued at $10,000, while it was parked in front of the Sleep Inn, 5400 Southpoint Centre Blvd. In the truck bed was a Miller 250 welder valued at $4,000, 300 feet of copper wire valued at $100, a multi-colored grinder, brand unknown, valued at $200, a multicolored drill, brand unknown, valued at $200, and a band saw, brand unknown valued at $200. Between 10-11 a.m. on Sept. 16, someone entered an unlocked 2008 Toyota Prius parked at Spotsylvania Baptist Church, 4009 Lafayette Blvd., and stole a blue purse, brand unknown, valued at $55, $600 in cash, car keys valued at $5, three personal identification documents, a prescription valued at $15, two checkbooks and six credit cards. Between 12:53-1:01 p.m. on Sept. 18, a male concealed four Gerber knives valued at $141.46 and one Leatherman knife valued at $77.99 at the Target store, 9785 Jefferson Davis Highway. He walked around the store discarding the packaging, then left the store. He is described as a white male wearing a black baseball cap, white T-shirt, tan shorts and facial hair. He was in a 1990s model green Acura or Honda Civic that has damage to the right front fender. CFS 12-109328
Between 4 p.m. on Sept. 14, and 11 a.m. on Sept. 15, someone took the rear license plate that was taped to the back window of a delivery van at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, 4600 Spotsylvania Parkway. The plate is Tennessee H7362J and is valued at $10. CFS 12-108198
Between 5 a.m. on Sept. 14 and 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 15, someone stole the mailbox from the front of a residence in the 8300 block of Marye Drive. It is valued at $50. The post was left intact. CFS 12-108185
Between 5 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 6:30 on Sept. 12, someone removed a presidential election sign from in front of a residence in the 11900 block of Sawhill Boulevard in Sawhill and damaged one of the poles. Damage is reported to be $100. CFS 12-107097
Between noon on Sept. 11 and 3 p.m. on Sept. 12, someone damaged the mailbox at an apartment complex kiosk at the Villages of Salem Station in the 11100 block of Sunburst Lane. The victim's assigned mailbox door lock has been pried on several occasions, but entry has not been made. Damage is estimated at $50. CFS 12-106984
