The Fredericksburg Pet Expo drew a large crowd of pet lovers to the Fredericksburg Expo Center over the weekend. More than 60 businesses had booths at the expo, including veterinarians, pet groomers, obedience training academies and pet rescue organizations.

Visitors could stop by a petting zoo, see dogs tackle an agility course or watch dancing dogs and racing pigs.

One observer spotted a bichon whose owner had groomed it to look like a panda bear.

In the top left photo, one of the expo's vendors, Ann Becker, paints pet-themed ornaments as visitors watch.
