William A. Green

William A. "Sonny" Green, 79, of Orange County passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Culpeper Regional Hospital.

Sonny was a member of North Pamunkey Baptist Church in Orange and a member of American Legion Post 156.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Fannie Baker Green; a brother, Thomas Hope Green; and nephew T.H. Green.

Sonny is survived by his wife, Kathryn Green of Orange; his sister, Fannie Elizabeth Rudinger; his three nieces, Page Almond, Hope R. Linehan and Lisa Travis; and his three nephews Rick Rudinger, David Somner and Roberto Gonzales. Survivors also include many great-nieces and -nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, in the North Pamunkey Baptist Church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Virginia National Bank, Box 709, Orange, Va. 22960, Attn: VAN Fund for G and Ben.
