Roger Roberts, 74, of Woodbridge lost his battle with lung cancer on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Judie Roberts; his sister, Janice Curtis; and his brother, Norman Roberts. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Roberts.
Mr. Roberts retired from the U.S. Army as a master sergeant after 26 years of service.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home, 13318 Occoquan Road, Woodbridge, Va. 22191. Interment will be private.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73123-1718; or to a local SPCA in memory of Roger Roberts.
