Catherine Hutt O'Bier, 84, of Montross, widow of Durward "Pat" O'Bier, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012.
She had retired as a caregiver at Sunset Lodge and was a member of Currioman Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Durward O'Bier Jr. and his wife, Loney; daughter Claudia Barker and her husband, Bob; and grandchildren Cathy Bennett, Lynn Hayes, Patrick O'Bier and Cynthia Woolard. Also surviving are great-grandchildren Faith, Brie, Caroline, Alisyn, Peyton, Elena and Aidan; and special friend Margaret Stosch.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel.
