Police seeking flashing suspect

A suspect has been identified in the recent case of indecent exposure that occurred outside Sammy T's restaurant on Caroline Street, Fredericksburg police said.

A warrant has been obtained for the arrest of Eddie Ray Lee, 47, who has no fixed address, police said.

He is charged with indecent exposure, but has not been located or arrested by police.

In the incident, two women were having dinner Sept. 17 at an outdoor table when a man stopped in front of them on the sidewalk and exposed himself. One of the victims chased after the man but she stopped the pursuit when he ducked down an alley, police said.

With help from downtown business owners and surveillance video from more than one Caroline Street eatery, investigating officer Julie Keene identified the offender and obtained the warrant.

Anyone with information concerning Lee's whereabouts should call the Fredericksburg Police Department at 540/373-3122.

Police said Lee was convicted in two other exposure cases in March 2011 and served nine months in jail.
