Jeanette Elizabeth Canada, 85, of Spotsylvania County transitioned Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Willie Canada Jr.; five daughters, Helen Canada, Brenda Canada, Shirley Canada, Gail Robinson (Barry) and Linda Spady; one son, James E. Canada; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister Hilda White; and brother Warren Conway (Hattie).

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Mount Hope Baptist Church, 6823 Harrison Road, with the viewing one hour prior. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery.
