CREATIONS >> Local artist prepares for Friday show

Artist Barbara Posey of iFelt Goods fashions a witch from wool and silk in her studio at Artful Dimensions in downtown Fredericksburg on Tuesday. The witch--accompanied by a cat, also sculpted by Posey--will be one of the pieces featured in a show called Common Threads: A 30 Year Celebration of the Fredericksburg Spinners and Weavers Guild. The show opens Friday at Liberty Town.
